CHOPPERS OÜ is the data controller for personal data processed through the CHOPPERS24.COM platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed);
• Listing data: contact name, phone number, email, and content you publish;
• Payment data: billing information processed via our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers);
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and device information collected via cookies and server logs;
• Communications: messages you send to our support team.

• Art. 6(1)(b) - Contract: processing necessary to provide our services to you;
• Art. 6(1)(c) - Legal obligation: compliance with Estonian commercial law, tax law, and AML requirements;
• Art. 6(1)(f) - Legitimate interest: platform security, fraud prevention, analytics;
• Art. 6(1)(a) - Consent: marketing communications (you may withdraw consent at any time).

• To create and manage your user account;
• To publish and display your listings;
• To process premium feature payments;
• To send transactional emails;
• To respond to support enquiries;
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity;
• To comply with legal obligations and court orders;
• To analyse usage patterns and improve Platform performance.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Payment processors: to complete transactions, under strict data processing agreements;
• Cloud hosting providers: infrastructure operators acting as data processors under GDPR Art. 28 agreements;
• Law enforcement or courts: where required by applicable law;
• Other users: information you voluntarily include in a public listing is visible to all Platform visitors.

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR Art. 46).

• Account data: retained for the duration of your account and 3 years thereafter;
• Listing data: retained for 2 years after a listing expires or is deleted;
• Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Estonian Accounting Act;
• Server logs: retained for up to 12 months;
• Support communications: retained for 3 years.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access (Art. 15): request a copy of your data;
• Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate data;
• Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion ("right to be forgotten");
• Right to restriction (Art. 18): limit how we process your data;
• Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please email support@choppers24.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately at support@choppers24.com and we will delete it promptly.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration, in compliance with GDPR Art. 32. These include TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
